Turn 1A
Rask gets first turn and Issyria chooses the side without the obstruction in the square zone. I run up and learn that Admonition is battle group only. Luckily my opponent has more experience playing Issyria (who also has Admonition) than I have playing Rask.

Turn 1B
Chimera runs up and Issyria casts Blinding Light on Skarath and the Spitter. Stuff is keeping mostly out of threat ranges.

Turn 2A
I have to feat to avoid getting wrecked without backing completely out of scenario, but unfortunately it is not buying me a lot of table space. My heavies on the right are clumped up a bit too much, and I should have payed more attention to the right side of my zone.

Turn 2B
Chimera on the right runs all the way behind the rock in my zone. I thought this was well very played by my opponent since it makes it very difficult for me to clear the zone next turn. One Ghost sniper runs up to contest my flag. Sentinels minifeat and run to jam.

Turn 3A
I have a great opportunity to clear the Ghost sniper, Scythe and Imperatus in one fell swoop. To achieve this I need to cast BC on the Void archon and Fury + Primal on Brine. Then the plan is to charge the Ghost sniper, teleport over to Scythe and kill her with second attack and/or spray. This would leave me within 5” of Imperatus. A fully buffed Brine should have no problems clearing him after Diversionary tactics to get the distance around the rock. My whole plan falls short as the Void archon misses both 7s and the 8 to hit the Ghost sniper. Unfortunately I have no souls and just as I miss my first attack I realise that it would have been super easy for me to fill him up with Sentinel souls first. I must say this was a hugely disappointing moment, but I could easily have avoided the situation by planning a bit better ahead.
Since I am already down two points and will not be able to score more than one myself, I figure I need to contest at least one of his scoring elements to prevent a 1-6 loss next turn. The Valkyries are just out of running distance of his square zone so I figure my best option is to send in Brine and try to clear out as many of the Sentinels as I can.
It is worth to mention that I check if I can get LoS from Rask to the Chimera who is alone in the circle zone, in order to dispel Admo with, but he is too far behind cover to be seen.

Turn 3B
Issyria feats and kills almost my whole army.

Turn 4A
I try to kill the Artificer to at least deny my opponent one point, but the Spitter fails to hit. I clock over and lose on my turn.
Score 1-7
Sadly, a loss for the Minions
:: Evaluation ::
I make to clear mistakes this game. One is to not have control over entire square zone, which loses me the potential to score it on my feat turn. The second is not having the souls available on the Void archon to protect against the horrible dice I had on my fluffed Imperatus kill-run.
Had I not done these mistakes I would have only been down by 3 after Issyria’s feat turn and I would probably have kept more of my army alive since I could have kept everything outside of the Sentinels’ charge range. He would have had to turn at least one Trident around to deal with Brine in his zone, which again could have left it vulnerable to counter attack.
On the other hand my opponent could just have kept Imperatus outside of threat range of Brine. If had done that I don’t see any way I could win this matchup.
