I registered for the afternoon 8-man Steamroller. This turned out to be called the ‘Shark tank’ and had some really strong players. I got paired against a Minions player who brought an Azazzello list which looked a lot like the one I used to play a lot against when it came out about a year ago. I know I had some decent luck with Fiona in the matchup, but Azazzello brings a tough denial game so I will need to play very precisely.

165 Ossrum1 Irreg vs Sturm&Drang1 WWFF

Third and final game. I am playing a Sturm&Drang list which I have previously played my Fiona list into with good success. However, I decide to drop Ossrum because the scenario is Spread the Net and I get it into my head that he will be better equipped to deal with Rask which was his other list. In hindsight I can see that this is probably not true anymore since the addition of Barny0 makes the Rask list a lot more tanky than it used to be. Hilariously, I actually think both I and the Minion player dropped the wrong list. My opponent commented that he would have dropped Rask, but since it is the third game of the day he would not be able to play that list without clocking himself. I can definitely relate to this!

101 Rask1 WWFF vs Maddox1 SD

As I have discovered for myself, Brawlmachine is a great format to get back into the game with. Today I got a chance to play against a returning Cygnar player who wanted to try out the new format. His favourite theme, Storm Division, has also recently received an update. I decided to try out a Rask list I had been thinking about. Unfortunately I forgot my Totem Hunter model at home, so I swapped him out for a Dhunian Archon.
