Turn 1A:
My opponent cranes archons and runs up. Phantasm on the right hand side archon who stays just out of 20” of my Mariners. Freebooters outside of 22”. The Storm Rager on the archon with one wing. He stays behind the rock. All sea dogs within 5” of an archon.
We didn’t check at the time, but discussed it afterwards that the archons need to be within 5” of the Hermit to avoid me being able to Befuddle him out of Mad Visions range. It looks like my opponent did, but as we will see next turn it didn’t end up mattering either.

Turn 1B
Here I can go for the Phantasm archon while staying out of 18” of Freebooters and 15” of the Storm Rager archon if I can avoid triggering vengeance. Sea dogs charge up and kill a couple of evil sea dogs. Fiona and two Mariners get guidance, arcs Befuddle and gets the 10 to damage with Chasten. But the damage rolls aren’t cooperating, and everything falls apart when the non-guidance misses his boosted 8 and the scatter kills a sea dog within 5” of the other archon. The cannon hits and slams 4”, but the damage roll is Mad Visioned, leaving the archon on 4 boxes.
It didn’t end up punishing me, but a much better way to do it would have been to sacrifice the deck gun and crew as arc nodes. Then I would have only needed 8 to dispel with chasten and I would have gotten in two extra damage on the archon. More importantly I wouldn’t have triggered vengeance on the archon, so if I don’t kill it it wouldn’t have been able to charge.

Turn 2A
The game is basically lost at this point, but my opponent wants to see how much trouble the archons can cause and if Fiona’s feat can salvage the situation. Shae gets to live the dream and charge the fully buffed archons almost into my deployment zone.

I kill the 4 box archon and land a curse, but fail to dispel Storm Rager. Cannon slams the Freebooter (Basher proxy) out of the zone so Dirge seers can score

He finishes the two damaged jacks through my feat and scores both flags plus left zone. There was a swamp gobber in the left zone, which is why there is a Freebooter way over there.
